These are the same glider's I fish and trust for chasing big fish. Every fly is tied with Musky Fool bucktail (that I dye), giving each one its own unique color combination.
Each fly measures approximately 12–14 inches and is built on a MF split-ring shank with a 3/0 BKK Spear hook attached via split ring for solid hook-ups. The rear hook is a 5/0 Gamakatsu B10S, creating a proven two-hook setup that fishes clean and sticks fish.
Best fished on 12wts and Two Handed rods with 600-800 grain fly lines.
Every fly is pre-tuned and ready to fish right out of the package. No adjustments needed, just tie it on and go. After they get bit or smacked on your trolling motor head they may need another "tune". If you have questions on how to tune gliders give me a call at the shop. We put a slight bend in the front shank to get them to walk harder and do their thing. Play with it until you like what you see!
