Penny the Pinup

She’s got fire in her eyes, a curl in her hair, and a taste for only the biggest, baddest flies. Penny doesn’t mess around with small talk—or small tackle. She’s a high-flying bombshell who knows size matters when it comes to chasing the meanest predators in the water. Whether you're swinging for trophy muskies or bombing casts into the unknown: go big or go home.

Strap in, hold on, and fish like a legend—Penny wouldn’t have it any other way.

Mean Mama

She isn’t just big—she’s legendary. The undisputed queen of the lake, Mean Mama rules her waters with an iron jaw and a hunger that shows no mercy. She’s the apex predator, the matriarch, the nightmare lurking beneath the surface.

In some worlds, the big male reigns supreme—but in musky country, it’s the queens that rule. If she decides your fly is worth her time, it won’t be a question of if she’ll strike, but when. And when she does, you’ll know exactly why she’s earned her name.

SnackTail

Oh, musky flies. The thing we spend nearly as much time obsessing over as the damn fish themselves. The business end, as some call it—carefully sourced, meticulously tied, built for one purpose: deception.

The “match the hatch” crowd scratches their heads at boxes filled with pinks, chartreuse, purples, and blues. None of it resembles the prey, yet somehow, all of it does. Some of these flies are as big as the trout we catch. Most anglers scoff at the size—until they realize that to a musky, this is still just a snack.

Dinner Belle

You don’t find muskies—they find you. Even the most elusive fish can’t ignore the sound of supper. The big muskies don’t wait for an invitation—they show up when the dinner bell rings. And those are the ones we want, the biggest, meanest lady of them all, the true belle of the ball.

Go on, ring the bell. She’s hungry.

Who is BamBam?

Formally known as Josh Smeltzer, BamBam is the Creative Director at Musky Fool with an extensive background in Graphic Design & Ilustration. Several years ago when he was bored during Covid, he created a full lineup of fly fishing illustrations that were originally produced only as decals for boats, cars & coolers... until now.

He's beyond excited to see all these designs come to life in this new apparel lineup!
