My order shipped within a day or so of ordering and got to my house ahead of schedule. The bucktails that I bought look to be amazing quality and the color looks great. I can’t wait to tie some flies to see how much better quality they are compared to the normal ones I buy. I will definitely be ordering from Musky Fool again in the future.

Musky Fools are very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly.  I never experience the attitude than can pop up with other shops.  They inspire us to flyfish and get into the outdoors!  How can we save our planet if our feet are not in the grasses and streams.

I have had to give in to ordering bucktail via the mail…without seeing, touching and ultimately approving what I like and want to buy. The crew at MF has eased these concerns by providing consistent, high quality ‘tail...I mean really nice ‘tail. Soft, long, great dye jobs etc.  I never feel like I’ve gotten a bum tail, which says a lot. I’m picky and tie for clients that expect only the best be used.  The MF team has your back!  Buy with confidence.

What an amazing guided trip I had with Nick…it’s true what you guys say about Nick being the “guides, guide.” I came back to Wisconsin with a very minimal knowledge about these amazing creatures we go insane about, he took my basic skills and added and added and then added some more, leaving me with much more confidence and wherewithal on how to catch musky on the fly. Not only that but he was one of the most genuine people I have ever met, the day was filled with laughs, smiles, shakes from fish, a bunch of knowledge transfer, and by the end feeling like we were long standing friends. I can’t wait to move back and have Nick be my only guide I book trips with.

Musky Fool is consistently incredible from service to speed of delivery. I love that they leave a short and sweet note on each invoice. I always go to them for tying materials for musky and pike flies. Gunnar Brammer was not kidding about their personal distribution of super high quality bucktail!! They have stellar stuff and people. Hopefully I’ll one day make it over there to fish with them!

Over and Beyond! I met Gabe about a year ago on a Muskie Fishing guide service. He showed nothing but support for my amateur fly fishing experience. One year later, I gave him a call at Musky Fool and he hooked me up with a full Muskie kit. He was even able to get me the products within a few days! I cannot say enough about Musky Fool and my boy Gabe! I will fish with you again, soon!

WOW... just wow!!! I was lucky enough to be pointed to Musky Fool by a buddy that knows I am about equally crazy regarding Musky fishing, and fly fishing. I placed an order, and immediately had some buyers remorse about it (kicking myself about ordering an 11wt versus a 12wt). I emailed Musky Fool and Dan responded almost immediately. He was thoughtful and thorough in his response, and asked great questions about what type of fishing I planned on to make sure that the 12wt was really a better option for me. Then Dan went even further above and beyond by taking the time to make sure my entire fishing setup was on point, from the butt of my rod to the furthest feather on my fly(s). I can't say enough good things about Musky Fool, they went out of their way to give me the "local fly shop" experience even though I am across state lines. They took the time to answer even the silliest of my questions (i.e. are clasps really ok, or is that just being lazy?) and did all of it in a way that assured me these are folks that are just as crazy about both Musky and Fly fishing as I am. 10/10 will totally be doing more business with them in the future!!!

This is the best tackle supplier on the web. Why? Hand written thank you note in every order. That impresses me more than anything. Quality products and REAL customer service. Wish I lived closer so I could visit the Brick and Mortar store as well. Please support this company.
