An ideal solution for boats 10.5'-12' you can replace one 24in curved tube with one 12in straight tube. With this configuration the Swiftcast will hold 9' rods with the end cap in place.
If you primarily fish 9ft rods (on traditional raft configurations) and want to shorten the overall length of your Swiftcast, replace one of the 24in curved tubes with a 12in straight tube.
Alternatively, if you want to carry 11ft rods (and have a long enough boat) you can add a 12in straight tube to the standard Swiftcast configuration.
