Designed and field tested by Chippewa River and Musky Fool Fly Fishing Company. These rods were specifically designed for two-hand casting - either water hauling or aerial. They are individually handcrafted on the banks of the Chippewa River in the heart of musky fly-fishing country. These rods start performing when using at least a 500 grain line and can handle lines up to 750 grain. These are made to throw the really big stuff.

Fly Line Recommendations:
This rod was designed and tested using 500-750 grain lines. Overall, we found it to perform best with 600-700grain line, especially when two-hand aerial casting. If you prefer to only water-haul, we have found this rod to perform slightly better with 500 grain line.
